Apple Crumble

A simple staple for the autumn season

INGREDIENTS

  • FiberFlour                          200g

  • Butter                                 100g

  • FiberSugar                      50-75g

  • Apples                                   4-6

Instructions

  1. Slice up the Bramley apples. 

  2. Load up your baking dish and sprinkle with some FiberSugar.

  3. Mix FiberFlour, FiberSugar, and butter until it looks like coarse bread crumbs.

  4. Cover the apples and bake for 45mins at 165 celsius.

Tips

If you like custard, and don't mind stirring for 10 minutes, this is a great application for Ultrafine FiberFlour.

 

Beat 50g Ultrafine, 50g FiberSugar with 3 egg yolks. Meanwhile heat up 300 ml of milk, add a teaspoon of vanilla paste. Pour some of the hot milk into the egg mixture. Stir well and gradually add the rest of the milk. Return the mix to the saucepan and heat gently while continually stirring until it thickens.
