Chocolate Chip Cookies
Our low carb take on a classic dessert
Baking Powder 1tsp
Sugar-Free Chocolate 200g
Makes about 18 x 50g cookies
Add flour, sugar, salt and baking powder to mixing bowl and mix well.
Melt butter and let cool, beat in eggs and vanilla into melted butter.
Add wet ingredients to flour mixture and continue mixing until ingredients come together adding milk or water a tablespoon at a time to achieve your required consistency (more water= less crunchy and softer centres).
Fold in the chocolate chips or chunks.
Scoop onto baking sheet/paper, flatten out a little and bake at 170°C for 15 minutes, or until golden brown but not burnt like the ones in our video below ;)
Most on line recipes cream butter and sugar together but beating fibersugar with butter does not incorporate well.
i use Sainsbury's generic no sugar chocolate great value at £0.85 per 100g
