Apple Pie

The German Version

  • FiberFlour                          225g

  • Eggs                                  3

  • Butter                                 100g

  • Sugar Substitute                100g

  • Cox Apples                        5-6

  • Salt                                    1 pinch

  • Creme Fraiche                   200g


  1. For the custard filling mix 200 g of creme fraiche with two medium eggs and a sugar substitute.

  2. Rub butter, flour, and salt together then add one egg and knead until smooth. Alternatively pulse in a food processor.

  3. Roll out dough to the shape of your form allowing enough to create a rim.

  4. Grease form and line with dough.

  5. Peel and core 5 Cox Apples then cut into slices.

  6. Spread apple slices evenly across the dough and pour topping over the apples.

  7. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes at 180 degrees or until golden brown. Enjoy without guilt...
